1930 – 1968
Remembering my father today. We lost him in September 1968, just hours after he readied my brother’s and I for school that morning. The helicopter he was flying, on its way to be delivered to aircraft deployment location and heading for Vietnam, went down in Bakersfield CA after catastrophic engine failure.
